Machineworks Bridge is a room on Bryyo. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
Description
This room serves the purpose of connecting Bryyo Cliffside to Bryyo Thorn Jungle. Thus, it is part of both areas.
At both ends of the room there are gates blocking the way. To turn the gates so that the open parts face on another, Spinners on the floor must be used. To get inside the gates, Samus Aran can jump through a small hole in them in her Morph Ball mode. Since Samus cannot rotate the other side of the walkway immediately, she must travel to Bryyo Thorn Jungle, and enter the room via the other side. Once the steps to rotate the first part of the walkway have been repeated, Samus now has a shortcut between these two areas of Bryyo.
It should be noted that while it is possible to rotate the walkway in the other order, the bridge cannot be used the first time unless the walkway is entered from the Bryyo Thorn Jungle side. This is due to the fact that moving from Bryyo Thorn Jungle to Bryyo Cliffside and rotating the bridge there will result in the Gunship dropping the generator to transport Samus and resultantly block off the Bryyo Thorn Jungle's exit point.

Development notes
The room's internal name is 0q_bryyo_p2r. The keyword bryyo indicates the planet Bryyo, and the prefix 0q indicates that this is the 17th of 23 sets of junction room throughout the planet.
The internal name p2r is unclear. Perhaps it was originally intended to connect the North Jungle Hall (whose internal prefix is 0p) to the Colossus Vista (whose internal prefix is 0r) before the former connecting room was changed to the adjacent North Jungle Court.
